About Will

Getting kicks on Route 66
Will Nepper is a Cleveland-based freelance writer who is uncomfortable writing in the third person and has a roman numeral after his name (V). Over the course of his (significantly more than) thirty years of life he's developed a knack for tailoring his writing to meet the needs of others when they pay him to do so. Whether it's extolling the virtues of peanut butter, mashed potatoes, and lasik eye surgery (marketing!), sculpting young minds (text book author!), transforming a stranger's personal story into a published book (ghost writing!), entertaining himself and others (movie reviews! fictionessays!) or writing complicated stuff you wouldn't understand (technical writing!), he never fails to convince strangers and acquaintances alike that he knows what he's doing. All of this despite a penchant for over-writing blog bios with ridiculously long sentences and excessive use of parentheses and exclamation points (both of which kind of get in the way when he should be convincing you he's an exceptional copy editor). Will Nepper is a published author, a reporter, a copywriter, a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king. (Well, three out of nine. You guess which.) He's eager to prove this to you and if he were writing in the first person he'd ask that you look at his resume, browse this blog and hire him for all your writing and editing needs. Will's passions include scary movies, Mom's spaghetti sauce recipe, singing-cowboy music, writing in the first person and getting paid a reasonable (but negotiable) amount of money to write for those who require his unique brand of talent. He also enjoys (and is quite good at, if he does say so himself) painting and photography. He prefers that people not refer to him as a "renaissance man" but sheepishly admits that he understands where they're coming from.
